Our gardener Mr Chris Farron has again won praise from Britain in Bloom after Priory won the North-West Secondary School of the Year for the fourth time!
Chair of North West in Bloom, Mr Bernard Pendleton, said: “Priory gardens are amazing. They are by far the best Secondary School gardens in the North-West, I would say they are the best in the UK.
“Chris does an absolutely fantastic job. When you come into Priory, it’s like being at the RHS Flower Show at Tatton Park!
“Chris is very good in that he shares his knowledge with other local schools.”
Mr Farron said: “It’s lovely to hear such praise. The pupils comment on our gardens a lot, especially the ones who have been here from Year 7-11 to see how all the Priory gardens have developed.
“They say how much they have enjoyed watching the progress and that’s so nice to hear.
“It gives me a huge sense of pride to be here, I love coming to work, and the awards are a nice recognition for everyone at Priory.”
