This week Lenny Brayshaw joined us from the RAF Careers Engagement Team.

Lenny spent lunchtime with us in the Bistro talking to Year 10 and Year 11 pupils who are interested in a career or apprenticeship in the RAF. Following our lunchtime drop-in, Lenny led an hour seminar regarding various aspects of RAF training and careers. We were joined by over forty enthusiastic pupils across Years 7 to 11, many of which were interested in the variety of roles within the RAF, apprenticeships, and the opportunities available outside the core career work.

Lead Practitioner for Personal Development, Ms Smith said "We are grateful to Lenny for giving us some time this week to further inspire our pupils, following his attendance at our STEAM Careers Fair. The pupils enjoyed the discussion and asked some interesting questions around what the RAF actually do day to day. They all now know that being able to iron will save them time in the RAF ironing lesson!"
