Over four days last week Priory's PE department had sports sessions with every single pupil at Whitefield Primary School as part of their Sports Week.

With the Year 11s now having moved on, this meant the department had more time to build links with local primary schools. The support offered to Whitefield Primary last week included full year groups coming into school for trampolining, running Zumba classes for Key Stage One and Reception, and circuit training sessions at the school.

On Thursday, PE teacher Miss Beesley took a group of Year 7 & 8 girls for some fun Zumba sessions.

Miss Beesley said, "The girls did a fab job helping to teach the routines of 'Don't you worry' and 'Waka Waka' to Reception and Key Stage One pupils.  It was lovely sunny weather outside and even other teachers and pupils joined in at break time, shimmying and shaking to the beat!"

Head of PE & Sport, Mr Bullock, said, "Our pupils have been outstanding ambassadors for Priory; with Whitefield pupils appreciating the support offered and their staff being blown away by how good our pupils are."

The following pupils are to be congratulated for their efforts in maintaining the positive image of Priory in the local community.
