Year 7 Cookery Club - Mexican Quesadillas

After school last Thursday our Year 7 pupils were invited to the Food Technology room to make Mexican Quesadillas.

Along with making the cheese and vegetable-filled tortillas, the pupils practised some good basic kitchen skills like opening a tin and navigating the hob. 

And it seems our youngest pupils like a bit of spice in their food.  Food technology teacher and Vice Principal, Mrs Cowell, commented, "I was surprised when they asked for more chilli!"
