Each December, we launch our collections to support key communities in our local area.  We understand that it's a tough time for many families at the moment and so we were amazed by the response to our campaign.

We asked for collections for the homeless, for Penwortham Food Bank, and decorated shoe boxes for disadvantaged children in our community.  The Learning Centre was jam-packed with your kind donations!

On the last day of term, Mrs Hopes, Lead Practitioner for Personal Development, filled up her car to journey off to the three drop-off points and paused for a photo at the Salvation Army.

Mrs Hopes said, "Given the economic climate in the run up to Christmas, I was delighted to see the total of donations brought into school. This was yet another example of how Priory pupils care about others, are kind and want to make other people's lives better. All organisations who recieved items were very grateful for our donations and would be making good use of them over the Christmas period."
