23 February 2026

This is the second of two articles about Priory pupils who are making a name for themselves on the TikTok scene by using their amazing talents. From busking to interviewing footballers, there is no holding back Priory’s ambitious pupils.
Year 8 Taylor has already wowed his Priory audience with an assembly where he performed Billy Joel’s ‘Piano Man’ on his guitar and harmonica. Now, he has taken his musical skills onto the streets of the UK where he has been busking – and building a bigger audience by putting his performances on TikTok.
“I started playing the guitar around two years ago. I haven’t had any lessons but have picked it up from YouTube.
“I then started singing and found my voice was ok so combined the two. One day I saw a harmonica and had a go and so I have learnt that too!
“I went to the Edinburgh Festival with my parents and saw buskers and decided I wanted a go.
“So I did it and since then I have performed in Manchester, Liverpool, Lancaster, where I can really.
“I get quite big crowds and I absolutely love it when I can make everyone smile. I also have around 3,000 followers on TikTok.
“The person I admire most is Paolo Nutini as he has an amazing voice and he inspires me. I write my own songs and hope to be seen by a record company.”
