Priory hosts South Ribble primary dance competition

On Tuesday, 20 March we were delighted to host the third heat of the borough's Dance competition. 

The event was organised and run by South Ribble Borough Council with six local primary schools taking part.

We were pleased to be invited to help judge the winning team alongside Cllr Will Adams, Mayor of South Ribble Cllr Chris Lomax and the Mayoress Mrs Kim Lomax, and representatives from the South Ribble Community Development and Youth Council.  

Huge congratulations went to St Teresa's Catholic Primary School who came out as winners of the third Dance Cluster Competition.  

A representative from the council said, "The children were amazing and what a show they put on. Thank you to Penwortham Priory Academy for allowing us to host the event at their school. We really appreciate all your support."

Competitions have also taken place across Leyland and Lostock Hall and the overall winner will be go on to represent South Ribble at the Lancashire finals in Blackpool.
