Our newest facility was funded by South Ribble Borough Council after a successful bid last year.  The council approved the funding on the basis that we offer the use of the wicket to local cricket clubs to support the development of the sport in the borough and would use the facility after school and at weekends.

Assistant Principal, Mr Gee, said "In addition to enhancing our own pupils' cricket practise, the wicket will be made available to local primary schools and junior clubs for training and matches.

"However, we are actively seeking adult cricket clubs to make use of the grounds outside school hours which will enhance the facilities we can offer to the whole community."

SIS Pitches, who manufactured the artificial carpet, installed the wicket over two days.
