Literacy

Recently, the Chief Inspector of Schools has announced that too many pupils are falling behind in literacy and that more should be done to encourage involvement in English.  We interviewed Miss Thornton, the Head of English, to find out her opinion about this, and about World Book Day, which took place a couple of weeks ago.

We interviewed Mr Tinsley, the Head of Technology, over one of the most prominent topics concerning Preston, the Guild. This podcast conveys the importance of the Guild and how it can benefit not only the towns publicity and tourism, but the community and all the schools within it.
