Budding Year 10 Broadcaster Inspired by Professional Match Day Experience
3 March 2026

Budding football commentator Noah enjoyed what he called an ‘inspirational’ trip to Accrington Stanley to watch a League Two football match from the press box.
The Year 10 has already built up on a following on his TikTok channel where the Blackburn Rovers fan and season ticket holder interviews players from both Rovers and the opposition after the games.
He was given the opportunity to attend a match at the Wham Stadium where he saw Shrewsbury Town beat Accrington Stanley 2-0.
“It was a really good experience,” said Noah. “I got to sit in the press box which was interesting and I talked to all the other press, including the Shrewsbury media team and BBC Radio Shropshire and BBC Radio Lancashire.
"It was inspirational.
“I tried to write a match report – I got to 800 words!
“Then I attended the Shrewsbury press conference after where I listened to Radio Shropshire interview the manager Gavin Cowan and he gave me a separate interview and shook my hands.
“I also interviewed their captain, Will Boyle, who was really nice and also took time to speak to me and shake my hand.
“I put both interviews on TikTok and they have got over 10,000 views each.”
Noah, who wants to be a football pundit, recently spent his work experience at the Lancashire Football Association in Leyland.
“I am part of the Lancashire FA’s ‘Change Our Game’ where six of us give insights into what changes we would like to see in grassroots football and have been for a few years.
“I got the chance to do my work experience there and I did a lot of different things, such as putting the soil on the pitch and helping with a presentation. It was a well-rounded week of work experience.”
