Class of 2025: The Prom

This year group certainly knew how to celebrate their Penwortham Priory Academy finale in style!
Proms are occasions renowned for their glitz and glamour and this year was no exception, with sharp suits and stunning gowns. The event, held at Bartle Hall, Preston, was the perfect opportunity for the hardworking Year 11s to let their hair down after the exam season and a chance to say goodbye to the staff who have nurtured, challenged and supported them through their school days.
The pupils arrived in spectacular fashion in vehicles of many shapes and sizes, from trucks and tractors to motorbikes and a cavalcade of sports cars. The photographer was ready to capture the moment with proud parents watching on.
Awards, put together by both pupils and staff ensued after the buffet meal and it seemed the photo booth was a huge hit (though we’ll keep those snaps under wraps for now!). The evening tailed away with some moves on the dance floor and many farewell hugs at the end of a very memorable night.
A huge thank you to Head of Year 11, Mrs Bullock, for making the event so special, and to our pupils for making it truly unforgettable.
It was a fabulously deserved finale to round off Class of 2025’s time at Priory. We look forward to seeing everyone again on results day, Thursday, 21 August.
