Lancashire cup success for Year 11

The Year 11 football team started their Lancashire Cup run with a fantastic 3-0 win against Armfield Academy, Blackpool, in Round 1 on Thursday night. 

Team coach, Mr Gee, reported, "A thoroughly dominant performance saw Rhema head home from a Collinson corner followed by a second goal from McGovern to give Priory a 2-0 lead at half time.

"Priory’s dominance continued into the second half with the Armfield goalkeeper making a number of great saves from the ever-dangerous McKay and Missell. 'Super sub' Harwood came on and almost scored on his Lancashire Cup debut before assisting McKay who completed the scoring to give Priory a 3-0 win."
