What's it about? (a synopsis)
Annie is a heartwarming musical set during the Great Depression. It follows the story of Annie, a spirited young orphan who dreams of finding her parents. Living under the harsh care of Miss Hannigan at an orphanage, Annie’s life changes when she is chosen to spend Christmas with billionaire Oliver Warbucks. As Annie charms everyone around her, Warbucks sets out to help her find her family, leading to unexpected twists and a joyful ending. Filled with iconic songs like Tomorrow and It’s the Hard Knock Life, Annie celebrates hope, resilience, and the power of optimism.
